What you will need:

Working/Unbanned CID
Internet Access
A brain (lol)

Steps:
1. Install Gamesonic Manager
2. Go into Gamesonic manager, then press start
3. Go down to network tools
4. Click on set new console ID
5. Enter new unbanned CID if there isn't one already set. If there is, just hit enter and you'll be set.
6. Quit the app, or choose a game to load.
7. Done. Now go online

NOTE* You MUST, go into Gamesonic manager every time you start your ps3 and set your CID to go online. You can also use it to load games, which is what i do and it works perfectly!

This will also work on lower CFW's!

Orrrrr you could set CID with CCAPI to boot mode, but this is a good alternate. Good thread

Ehh, you don't need gamesonic. It's old and outdated. Just use Rebug Toolbox and Webman, it'll handle everything for you.

Quicker way set unbanned console I'd via webman permanently aswel as disable cfw permanently via webman .good to go webman is quickest and easiest .I've never heard of gamesonic lol

Lol yeah I switched to Webman. A lot faster and simpler. But this is just one of the many methods :p

Webman let's u permanently set unbanned Cid's that's what I like about it and its easy boot game setup

I was able to change my console ID to a working one from google, tried 3 acceptable ID's but when I try to get online I get this system has been banned message, before hand I was getting a 8002a0244 error. Am i using an old banned CID or did I do something wrong in gamesonic
