I made a lag switch to use with my PS3 today (mainly for MGO), I'm quite sure I did everything correct according to the tuts here but when I switch it I immediately get the common "no ethernet connected detected" message. First of all - I used the solid orange wire, I customized my settings and did everything manually, but still no luck. I think it may have to do with my modem/router - It's a DSL "2Wire" (modem and router all in one). Could this be the problem? and also I have the lag switch connected to my ps3 on one side and my router/modem on the other. is that correct? or would u normally connect the lag switch between the modem and the router?

try switching your t-base settings back and forth!! i have comcast and my switch works periodically ( everytime i turn my ps3 on/off ). When i turn my ps3, my switch will be disabled. so what i do is i go into network settings change my t-base half, test connection, flick lag switch, get disconnected. Once disconnected i go back into network setting and switch by t-base settings back to what they were previously, test connecting, flip lag switch, and whala it works again!!
