First you need to see if your current playstation or xbox is jailbreakable. If it is, find someone trusted and have them do it or you will most likely ruin your console. If your current ps3 isn't jailbreakable, you need to put that one up for sale and then search for jailbroken ps3 with CEX. If you are new to modding you need to start with CEX. I also suggest rogero but atm, only working cfw is habib and darknet. Without a jailbroken console you cannot mod. Start there.
