What is your Nat type set to. Nat type 2 works best for me. If it isn't set to two, you have to port forward your ps3 through your router settings. There is a tutorial right here on ngu.

Put USB in furthest right slot on ps3, try installing from xmb, make sure there is no disc in the drive or you will be back on ofw. Choose option update from storage media. If that gets an error, go into recovery mode and update from storage media.

Ok so the install package files works and a irisman icon comes on the games list when I select the icon it loads then it tells me to press x to save setting when I do anther screen come up and say do you want to save dev hdd... Or some thing like that and when I press x it freezes

What cfw are you using ? I use irisman, I don't recall that screen ever coming up. Is it when you are trying to load a game image?

ferrox 4.70 cfw (irisman) i did have it working once then it crashed on me and everytime i tried to open it, it froze. so i deleted it, redownloaded and reinstalled it, so i click on the icon and it gives me some options and the one i have to use is press x to save settings or something like that asks me the question where i can click yes or no i go and click yes and thats where it freezes on me.
