(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So..
I hear you can use an oven, to reflow your PS3 Motherboard at around 450 F'.

But. that leads me to the obvious question, once its taken apart, only motherboard in hand, how do I make sure the plastic doesn't melt, eg; the connectors and such?

Do I wrap it with foil, or what? So I can only cook the motherboard without hurting any plastic areas?

seriously, the plastic on the mainboard DOESN'T melt at those temps. you could leave it in for 20, 30 maybe more minutes and it will not melt. obviously the more times the board gets cooked it browns the components in colour.

Just preheat the oven and put it in there for 10min, take it out and let it cool. Then put new thermal paste on and reassemble. It should boot up as long as you put the thermal paste on correctly. I have done this a couple times with my other jailbreak and it works!
