(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I loaded up my PS3 and it said something like your file system is corrupted. Ps3 will restore. Something like that. But why did this happen and how do i fix it and is it a Brick?

Could be a brick...or an issue involving your hdd,since restore file system is not completing have you tried restoring your ps3?? This will erase all your installed homebrew...but your options are limited since the other option is not working :-(
By the way...what was you doing before the issue occurred?

It sounds like I'd be better off upgrading my hdd if I have to reinstall all my apps anyway right

I had this happen a few days ago. I inserted a freshly formated hdd and all was good for me. Not a brick. 😉

try other HDD, maybe there is a problem with your hdd

Ok,well from my knowledge if you cannot access the xmb menu and you are constantly hit with the " Restoring file system " the issue is either regarding your internal hard drive or you have a brick!
