(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Turn my ps3 on and I get the green light followed by 6 blinking yellow lights and then back to constant green light with no video/audio. I have tried the boot mode and have avi and hdmi cables connected. Good contact with heat shields cause it blows very hot air out and is clean on the inside. Last normal temps I have seen is average 70C for both cpu and gpu at idle and about 76C cpu and about 72C for gpu. I can't find anything on the net for this issue. Btw, 13 hours ago it was working fine. However, have been running into issue with it not reading hdmi and sometimes it will read it but not connect to it. That is why I have both cables connected. And yes, I have also tried with only one connected and in different ports with having the tv turned on before powering up the console.

Tell us if you have a phat or a slim.
In both cases it might work if you replace the thermal paste!

if you can you should replace your thermal paste, but you also could try to cool down your ps3 with a hairdryer but this wouldn't be a temporary solution

It is a fat ps3. I just put the thing back together with fresh paste yesterday or two days ago.

if you ylod you have to bake it, you can't just replace the paste and expect it to work.
