(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); as we are constantly left offline due to sonys constant "security updates" wouldn't it be a good idea to make a application that allows us to sync our trophies to our profile without having to sign in, that way i won't have to ever sign in again which would be nice?

my idea would be app that you launch and it links to sonys server and checks what trophies you haven't synced and syncs them to your profile while you are offline?

any more ideas comments?

I agree. Something like this would be awesome. If we can download game updates to our computers through some programs why not one for trophies. Give it some time though something will pop up sooner or later.

this is theoretically impossible, as first of all Sony's trophy sync is server-sided which means in order for your trophies to sync to your account, it must effectively communicate with the trophy side server and *ding* trophies synced

There is no way to or have any basis of making a application that sync your trophies to PSN without logging in and communicate with Sony server (so when other people see your PSN, they see they can compare your trophies because of the data sent to Sony)

its like making cookies without any cookie dough

we have the ps3 wide open i am sure it's not that hard to make a ps3 trophy app to sync trophies, but like always everybody is too busy messing around with call of duty to care about anything else.

not necessarily, a user here (which I forgot) had posted a chart of how the trophy system worked on the ps3 and I reviewed his theories about hacking the trophies to a easier way, it seemed feasible at first but I try to compile a program similar to this function, however in the process, I came up with dead ends, buffer overflows, and cluster-f*** of unknown 200+ files on my desktop (it was really cluttered and had to reformat before I lose my sanity Eek). So I just stopped, this was taking too much time of my hands, but I heard if you edit/manipulate trophuser.dat (its not this, but its similar to troph.... something.dat) without breaking its original signature then you can have each trophies to 100% and successfully syncing to Sony, but you know I don't want to go on and on

I know someone is doing this, ex. GY10 Platinum program, you'll have a program like this later on but not for a while....
