Here's my save for the Sims 3 Plat, I've done 999 wishes and one of my Sims is about to do the requirements for the 1,000th wish so hopefully you should get the trophy for that.
I haven't tested the save, as I haven't had the game for a long time but hopefully it will work and get you some trophies, if it does do tell and then I'll add them to this post.
I'm just having a mes about with it now to see if I can get anymore trophies out of it

It's not a platinum gamesave as all the good karma's ain't been unlocked and it only has 39 challenges completed.
Add a bit of furniture to unlock "home is where the simoleons are"
Buy a business on the town map to get the "owned" trophy
Do a few challenges then goto challenge shop and buy stroke of genius, get lucky, giant jackpot for the "power overwhelming"

Complete 11 more challenges for the "Challenging" trophy
Sorry to bump, but if I might add, the possible reason that people are not seeing/having the 999 wishes the OP spoke of, is because only one of the files is included. I would think the file included is the actual sim file, where as you would probably need both the sim file, and "User Configuration Data" file to see all of the things like wishes, challenges, etc.
Lifetime happiness popped because it is stored on that sim file that was posted. Notice, if you have played the Sims 3 for real, that when you make new families, that your wishes and such from previous families carry over. I would assume this is because all of that type of stuff is stored on the User Config Data file. Get what I'm saying?
Just my thoughts. I have not personally tested this file as I am running through the game legit, but thought I would add my two cents...
