Upgrading

Just use all your nodes on your guns till around level 9 and then start upgrading your stasis and Rig - Rig first because you get more hp. But you won't really need hp packs so you can sell most of them and get ammo.
"ONLY SELL MEDS IF YOUR A TERRIBLE SHOT" but if you know how to shoot your all good i manged to get to 14 untouched but fcked up and forgot to reload =(.

You guys should know the map and know where the necromorphs are. But for the big hordes i recemmend the pulse rifles alt, aka beast lanucher i call it.

Tips

Elevator fight use the beast lanucher on the guys at the window, blews both arms off and you will get the trophy destorying all the arms.

The best way to conserve alot of ammo is to shoot off a arm and use kenises to shoot it back. And take your time while fighting.

Best guns in my opinion to play on hardcore is the plasma cutter and the force gun... Force gun saved me in so many situations when I would run out of ammo with my plasma cutter. Also when upgrading your rig just spend nodes on hp don't even bother upgrading the melee or your air its not really necessary.

my way is better i think because i made it to level 13 untouched besides being puked on but thats it

Same here... Only thing is the 1st 2 times I tried hardcore I died. After that I didn't get hit till the hunter started following you... But then again we have our opinion which way is better.
