1. Multiman(for FTP or Other Filemanager)
2. Homefront Backed Up on HDD or External

First Delete your GAME DATA for homefront
Navigate to the folder where homefront is and replace the PARAM.SFO with this one...(NOT THE HOMEFRONT FOLDER THAT IS CREATED AFTER YOU INSTALL GAME DATA, THE ORIGINAL FOLDER WHERE HOMEFRONT IS SAVED(the folder with PS3_GAME, PS3_UPDATE))

no i dont think thats possible...it works for this game because i guess the servers are shared by developers and retail.
