FTP server requires ftp. and ftp stands for file transfer protocol. If you do not know what it is used for, do not use it. and to have a ftp program on the ps3, you need CFW (jailbroken).
And transferring files and unlocking trophies are two seperate things. You would need to extract the trophy file, decrypt it, edit it, encrypt it, replace it. but we cant decrypt that yet.

you can only use ftp if you have a jailbroken ps3
