ok, I logged into my account and used my savefile. a friend of mine got me the DLC trophies, so I was able to copy my stats into my own savefile. as such, CREDIT ME!

i know people are trying to fool others to pay for the DLC trophies. DO NOT USE THIS SAVE TO MAKE MONEY! This should be available to everyone!

1st of all, i discovered yesterday that you do NOT need to have the COLD FRONT DLC to unlock the DLC trophies!!!!! u just need the latest patch only (1.61)!!

This works even if you do have the platinum already! THIS WORKS 100%! I tested it on three accounts and I guarantee it works.

READ AND FOLLOW THESE STEPS CAREFULLY!!
1. Download the savefile that corresponds to the code of your SOCOM disc. Right now we have the savefiles for BCUS 98183, BCES 00173 and BCUS 98152 (at the end of this post). If your disc is any other code than these, it WON'T work. It won't work if you have a downloaded version, YOU NEED ONE OF THE DISCS I LISTED.
2. Make sure you have the latest SOCOM patch installed (patch 1.61).
3. Copy the whole savefile to your PS3,
4. then play a ranked game on ANY map, not necessarily cold front. old maps also work.
5. Play until the game is over (all 5 to 8 rounds). Doesn't matter if you win or lose. Once you finish, a bunch of "You did not earn a trophy" will pop up.
6. When until all the popup is done, then quit the game.
7. Delete the save file, and start up SOCOM again. You will automatically make a new savefile. Now follow steps 4-6, and at the end of the match the DLC trophies will pop (also the platinum and other trophies if you do not have them!)

ALTERNATIVE "DUMMY ACCOUNT" METHOD (ONLY IF THE FIRST METHOD DID NOT WORK)
1) Create a new PSN account.
2) Copy the savefile that corresponds to your SOCOM disc.
3) Start SOCOM and play a full Ranked game for the full 5-8 rounds.
4) Wait until the game finishes, and all the "You Did Not Earn a Trophy" popups end.
5) Delete the savefile.
6) Start up SOCOM, you will automatically create a new savefile.
7) Play another full Ranked match, 5-8 Rounds. And enjoy all the trophies the pop
8 ) Copy the newly created savefile to your main account (or the account you want to have SOCOM platinum on).
9) Repeat steps 3-6.

Avid inventor, 1 successful hack, hack a vending machine, basic inventor & ammo inventor
1: Walk up to the U-Invent machine & invent one of each of the last 3 ammo types on the list. Unlocks "Basic inventor, & ammo inventor"

2: Then invent the 8 trap bolts to unlock "Avid inventor"

3: Turn around and walk up to the clown vending machine, press X and use an autohack tool to unlock both "1 successful hack, & hack a vending machine"

Weapon Specialist & All (6) weapon upgrade trophies
Walk up to the machine and upgrade the last weapon, this will pop ALL 7 weapon upgrade trophies (confirmed by LiveFromNY)

i copy and overwrited all of the files from the save of teminatr to my save and still

i don't know what your doing wrong then, it worked for me..

my socom doesnt work. help?

there is a tutorial in the socom section, make sure you follow it up

ive done it like 90+ times..

i get to where it says "you did not earn a trophy" then i delete the save and restart the game and finish a round no trophies pop...

i was considering renting salvation for the trophies( i remember doing this game for 1000gs on 360), but people are having problems with it. i assume its the same method as uncharted1? i have a suggestion for those having problems. i can not vouch for this as i do not have the salvation game. on uncharted 1 i was not getting trophies either,but i was not getting the "you did not earn a trophy" message. What i did was start a new game fresh. then i would copy that save over to my usb, then go to pc, and i followed the video for uncharted1 and it worked. got platinum on it. reason it wasnt working for me because i was using an old save i had from months before. this prevented me from having the trophies pop. So my suggestion is start a new game on salvation, and use that exact same save file to swap out the files u need to copy over for it to work and copy that exact save back to your ps3 and OVERWRITE ALWAYS!!! this will make the save yours again with the hack provided in the said save file.

i know it was tedious with uncharted. what i shouldve done was make 10 new save files(this way its all fresh and has all your correct info in order to make the hack file work). i didnt do that, instead i was copying the hack files to older save files and that didnt work. so i just stayed with 1 fresh save and everytime i did the trophy i would quit game plug usb to pc open the save file and replace the hack file and rinse and repeat, and bingo...got all trophies. so maybe try these steps i did, im sure it should work. if not ill check on it myself once i get it from gamefly. hope this helps.

btw-if you are getting the u did not ear trophy message. it mostly is because you copy over the param.sfo file. do not touch that file. by leaving yours in that your ps3 made, it is YOUR save under your profile name. copying that file over yours will result in this message or you will get a prompt when copying it over that its a save from another user. you will not earn trophies that way. OR, its just a file that you copied over that you were not suppose to.
