Sony doesn't give a shit about trophies really they just have them and they said to many times they don't have control on what pops and whatever it was by the developer themselves to pop at a certain point.

You can get banned but the likelihood of you getting banned is very slim.

Did anyone without CFW ever actually get banned though? Never heard of it.

Sony has people working most of the Playstation related forums on the internet and are monitoring posts, trades and use of hack files.
Posting in a section like this triggers an alert in Sony and they automatically have staff monitoring IP's, there's a good chance you will now banned for interacting here.
Best of laying low for awhile, change your first name to something like Phyllis and with a bit of luck you'll avoid the Ban.

i work for sonys online trophy fraud department and................. sorry i cant keep it up, i cant see any grounds for a banning as trophys are purely for bragging rights, im sure it would be different if they could be used to redeem things or had a relevent purpose, all they do is add replay value to games, so in theory all your doing is shortining the life (your intrest) of your game, and as most people are using cfw/xploder now to "hack" sorry make the trophie pop (there is more hacking involved in running a bath) trophies are kind of pointless now but still super fun none the less
