Posting up this save (it is from Gamefaq with a bit of progress from me) to help anyone playing this game out. Doing a few things to trigger trophies will unlock most of the trophies (ie, cancel 1 action to get 1000 cancelled actions and so fourth).
I've tested it and it works with Xploder, I ran into a few freezing problems but when you save over the file it works flawlessly (you need the free Asagi HD DLC).
Everything is unlocked, X-Dimension, Land of Carnage, etc. Recommended to play through the game once and then use this save to aid you in attaining more trophies and saving hundreds of hours.

This save is for the US VERSION of the game, I do not think it will work with Region swapping because each Disgaea 4 game has a separate trophy list. However you are free to test and report back here.
If you can make progress on the file for the titles or ship parts please repost any progress you can make. Or if we get someone who knows how to hex edit *fakeshadow* maybe they would be so kind to attempt to mod the save to give up all items/grades/symbols and/or modded stats.

Fufill one of the requirement or go to the area and do the objective to get the trophy. If more trophies unlock please report here what they are. The goal is to try and attain the gold/silver trophies for this game as they are the real hard ones.

Ok here's a way around it that I think that might work w/o Xploder.
Step 1: Load his save onto a USB and copy it onto your PS3
Step 2: Delete any patch for the game
Step 3: Download the FREE Asagi HD DLC as aforementioned in his OP and remember don't download any patch still
Step 4: Start up the game and if it asks you to install patch hit cancel or "o"
Step 5: Once at main menu » select load » load his save
Step 6: Once you're in the game, create your own new save and DO NOT OVERWRITE HIS!!!
Step 7: Quit game via XMB
Step 8: Go to save data and delete his save, you will have you own now
Step 9: Start up the game again and install every patch for the game
Step 10: Load up game and viola!!!
You should have everything from his previous save onto your save now and you will be able to get trophies as well given you do the requirements for the trophies. I hope that help, otherwise use Xploder and resign the save to you and install the Asagi DLC as well.
If you need help resigning save, there are plenty of people doing it in this section, just ask them.

If this works I'll add it to the main post. Mine worked by just saving over it without deleting the patch but I did experience a few freezes before it was on smooth sailing.

I would test it myself but unfortunately I don't have the game to confirm it for myself. Hopefully it works like a charm, I mean this method has a few more steps to it compared to xploder which I also can't test out because I'm running on OSX Snow Leopard and well Xploder is only on Win...booo lmao. If you could test it out for me I would appreciate and I'm pretty sure others would be too
.Ohh it seems my girls have got attention of another member of NGU hehe, they sure grab a lot of attention when people are scrolling down the thread. When they see my girls and they are like "woah"
[scrolls back and looks at sig, then pms Yuki for names LMAO] and are immediately love stricken by their sight :love: lmao. Now when you ask who is the girl in my sig, which one are you referring to? The one on the right or the left or my avatar? lmao it's a triple threat

I actually know who they are. Leah Dizon and Misa haha. Yeah I've looked up pictures of each of them before
