Dead Island Platinum Save
Contains a level 50 save and 3 other saves with the 3 characters at the start of act 2.
You'll be able to earn most trophies using this save, Just do 1 requirement to trigger the trophies.
The only trophies you'll have to earn manually are the ones for killing 10/15 enermies in a row with a hammer/ analog fighting sticks etc....
Use Xploder to resign the saves, put all saves on your console before starting

I had the same problem and from what I have read the tutorials do not address this issue. After some research and messing around I found a way to get it working. Take the Dead Island save from this thread and put on your USB stick. Then COPY it to xploder. Take a .sfo file from ANY of YOUR game saves and copy it to the Dead Island save folder still on your USB stick. Last, drag the save from xploder back to your USB stick.. click ok and overwrite. It will fix the save so it is under your name and allow your PS3 to copy it. Apparently, the save protection on some games only restricts going from PS3-->USB but the other way works correctly if the save is correct.
