there are checksums for the files.

i think u have to mod the eboot to make this mods work.like default.xex for xb360 games.

its because he is killing my shop and i wish he stop posting instant plat mod.

just be honest a little, it's not kiiling your shop at all.
Most of the shop here are using game saves which are available everywhere and these shop are not dead.
those hacks here are (imo) a lot harder than just using save and only few ppl will manage to make them work

i've seen that now you also ask your friends to come graon at me, even if they don't offer those games in their own shop, just make me want to continue even more

ONLY WORKS WITH CFW - THIS IS NOT A SAVE HACK

I'm posting this but i've not managed to make it work (yet), maybe someone else will manage

Step 1
Download my file missions.xml (extract .rar, it's inside)

Go to your backup of "Splatterhouse"

On your computer go to your backup and navigate to that folder \PS3_GAME\USRDIR\data

unpack archive.psarc (use google to find the tool to unpack psarc files) - you can delete archive.psarc (or make of copy of it somewhere else)

Go to \PS3_GAME\USRDIR\data\archive\global

replace the existing missions.xml by mine

Now is the part where i can't manage to make it work :
i've made several tries :
- repack the archive folder into archive.psarc but the repacked files don't have the same size as the previous one and on cfw, the game won't launch (black screen when lauching game) with the backup on external HDD, nor with the game on the internal HDD
- leave the archive folder (without the archive.psarc file) but th game seems to freeze on external HDD

i have to try without repacking the psarc file on internal HDD

Beware that if you leave the archive folder unpacked, the loading time are much longer


Step 2 - not been able to test it
Launch the game.
Start the game without any save (delete your previous save if you have one)
In the first figth of the game, just kill 1 ennemy, all trophies should start popping. (that's what i've modified)

no, as fakeshadow stated, there must a check somewhere (probably inside eboot.bin). have to download some new tools to decrypt eboot.bin and see what i can do
