Steve Thank you for all your help, unfortunatly i still haven´t managed to get this working but i have a small ideia why.. for some stupid reason and after several tries i figured out that i can´t play NG3 with the update 1.01 installed and without the 3.70 spoofer activated.

If i deactivate the spoofer it doesn´t allow me to play the game with the update because it says i need a higher firmware version.. sigh..

a real shame it only works for CFW

hey skyline, this has happened to me as well. i think you probably got a bad game update 1.01 pkg/and or a bad eboot. pretty sure justeve provided you with the proper eboot. use his eboot and use this pkg. i grabbed another one and it worked. i'll give you the one i used that works for sure. at least on my system it does.....anyhow install the pkg as usual. have rebug spoofer 4.11 enabled. load up whatever you use aka multiman. it should work. also i am running it from an external HDD incase u wanted to know. hope it works for you.

btw file is pretty big, its 184mb...

Thanks mate! im starting to think that the problem indeed is the update but im going to try the one you provided and i´ll let you know if it worked.

Update: ok so I installed your update 1.01 pkg and used juststeve eboot on the USRDIR update folder and the game started with no problems but cant´t get the cheats working... what did you do for them to be active mate? i pressed L1+R1+Left on the main menu, in game but still nothing happens and still getting killed lol

hey skyline, i see the game works, so you are passed the black screen stuff huh? glad i was able to help u with that. i finally got the cheat to work last nite.actually after my post that helped you. now i have my gae on my external HDD, what i was doing wrong was putting the modified EBOOT in the usdir folder. i noticed that if i looked on my dev hDD0/games folder in there is a ps3 update folder i threw the Eboot file in there and it worked for me. the HP bar will be across the top screen to know its done right and your magic meter will not go down as well. u do not get a menu or anything to activate it u will just see the health bar on top across the screen and u do not die,but i do not do any 1 hit kill which is ok not as fun that way. see if that works. let me know.

Backup your save and profile as that contains health settings
And start a new save
