right so this only works on the original gta 4 and not the complete version? i am trying to do this right now with the complete version and nothing is happening when i press r3+l3, going to try the original version and see what happens then.
this doesn't work on normal gta 4 either, it just stays in a never ending loop on the loading screen, how do you get this working on cfw?
i installed, patch, then put the update.img file via ftp and loading game and did game install= stuck at loading screen.
i am installing game then quit game and install patch and update.img and it's going to stay on the loading screen again, any help would be greatly appreciated.
it works fine on gta 4 complete but when i press l3+r3 no menu pops up.

Yeah I went out and bought the original gta4 and it worked fine. But on the complete version it doesn't work.

^^ never mind it works now.
i'm not giving up that easily, i am going to try something else and see if it works.
edit: it works! and i did the hack on cfw 3.55 too, so recap just for anyone who reads this:
complete version does not work, do not waste your time.
make sure you use a clean rip of gta 4 do not modify the actual game itself or the trophy hack will not work.
install patch then put update.img into the hdd0>game>(your version of the game ID) and then start game and let it install the game data, once you skip the cutscene, get out of the car and press both R3+L3 and a menu comes up, select the Derektrotter trophies in the menu and then enable all trophies and sit back and watch the trophies pop :gr8:
