Me and ICS Vortex were working on finding new things before releasing, but this is simply modding Dead Island. We want to encourage others to actually think about modding the game before just releasing a save for rep so every newfag with xploder can just resign and call themselves a "Hacker". We want other people to mod the game and find something new. Over some time we WILL release new finds. #hint ( any weapon orange, modded damage, god mode, inf ammo etc )

So let's get into it.
Basically what you need is:

Thats it. If you have a jb ps3 you should already know whats going on. Backup the game, replace the eboot and mod the param to 3.55. (SIMPLE) If you don't know how to do this leave.

Now that you have the game backed up go to "Dead Island\DI\" via FileZilla. Replace the data0.pak with the one I provide you with. I'll make a couple of different data0.pak's for different mods. So stay updated

Okay. Now start up Dead Island via backup manager. Create a new character and start. When the game loads fully press start and you should see an extra option. "DeveloperMenu" Open It And Click "Cheat Items Supply" . Now this is where you have fun. Get as MANY things as you want.

Now that you're finished save and Data transfer back to your Online PS3. Load up Dead Island and your save should be there. Load It Up and you're good to go.

i data transfered from 3.55 to my 4.20 and i can't open the dev menu ...help plz ....

Hmm this is old but nice as they have been doing this from day one on xbox 360 as this game uses the same chrome engine and file system.
But works better on the psn version as you can add the trophy hack and proper dev menu.
Still its nice for the peeps that didnt know how to do this.

hey nice work im looking 2 get the sripts 4 plat trophy i got a little problem tho my jailbroken ps3 dont read disks anymore i have a blu ray drive problem how would i go about putting these mods on is there a game update like mw2 were i could put on usb and install as a .pkg 2 my jailbroken ps then copy over the files that way?
