The only other way is to go with what he mentioned about the E3. You may want to read up on it first before buying anything. If you PS3 came with 4.20 or 4.21 then you may not be able to downgrade. You will also need to know if it's Nand Or NOR I believe, anyone correct me if I'm wrong but from what I understand is that is the only way to downgrade at this time.

Both NOR and NAND are downgrade-able, the E3 Flasher can only do the ps3 slim 2000-2500 with are the 2.76-3.56 firmwares, for the NAND you need infectus or teensy or progskeet,

Got it, thanks for clearing it up for me. So if u have a PHAT model that's like 4 years old or so, would be NAND, correct? , u would be able to Downgrade using one of the items you listed? Just making sure I understood correctly

Yes but the latest phat has also nor chip but its easier to buy a used 3.55 kmeaw or other CFW for like 200 €/$/£ on ebay much safer and less change to screw your ps3 up by tryin to downgrade

I was just wondering. I have one that's on 3.55 w/ KMEAW on it but I have 2 other's that are on 4.20. Just seeing if it would be worth it to downgrade and maybe sell one.

i should not take the risk, when i did it my PS3 got very much problems, overheat problems (fixed) the buttons aren't working (not fixed) and sometimes the blu ray doesnt work, all happend after the downgrade so if you have a 3.55 ps3 keep it, dont sell it and/or try to downgrade 1 ps3 it gives you more problems than its worth
