Honestly its a scam, firstly if it were easy to swap HDDs out itd be far more widespread and youd be seeing alot more tuts on how its done. Dont be fooled, the HDD isnt from your PS3 therefore if he slots it into his itd reformat with his PS3s unique signature, and when you get it back itd reformat itself again putting you back to square one. Im sure he can host, and im sure theres probably methods in getting it not to reformat. But i get the feeling people are just setting themselves up for dissapoint with this service.

he can decrypt the hdd and mod it and send it back. simple shit.
