I've been browsing for a long time and decided to register to make myself an active member, contribute in any way possible and ask this community a favour.

Can someone please use Xploder to convert some Dead Space 2 saves for me?

I just need a Hardcore save near chapter 15 or so. I started this mental trophy while I was at home with leg broken but now that I'm back to work it will be hard that I ever finish this game. I would really like to play Zealot little by little with the Hand Cannon.

I should buy Xploder myself but until the end of November I'm really tight on money... arghhhh...and this Dead Space game is a loan from a friend.

Edit1: sadly it's loading up as my own save on chapter 3 Hardcore and not as the chapter 15 on the "to be hacked" save. The folder also has a new file on it, a data file, is it needed or should be deleted before moving file to console?

Edit2: Just tried a couple of times placing the file on console, with and without that new dat file, and it's always loading as my original file without any mods on it. All the files in the folder seem to be my original ones looking at the dates and details except that dat file. Either way, sadly, it's making no difference.

I'm confident shelle or another nice member will come around and look at it.

Hello zb.

Sadly problem persists.

I transfer the file to my USB and it's on chapter 3 as the original I posted (called "mine").

I can almost guess it's not going to work when I see the resigned save sfo and it still says chapter 3 and the image is from chapter 3. I guess Xploder is not replacing the files.

Going to try and upload other files, but the one to hack is a BLUS not a BLES (I guess the region needs to be changed).

Or try the earlier Hack file but use my save on this post... I don't know what to think now... arghhh...

I'll give it another run and do a region swap with the new uploaded hack save.. When i tried to resign the old save usually it say copying .gs3 yours just said copying. But i'm going to try again and reupload one sec..

Thought I might aswell give it a try see if I can be the saviour.. haha

My humble thanks to zb420, aFeralSheep and shelle82 for figuring out at the same time (yes, at the same time on different saves!!!) how to get it to work.

Thanks to IDontModLobbies for coming around and to others that probably were also going to help.

Great people make great communities and that's what I see here in nextgenupdate. Proud to be a part of it and will help back others in any way I can.

Now I can pew, pew, pew my way though Zealot as my time allows, little by little. I should be getting another surgery to the leg but this time to the knee... in a way I hope not to have time to play too much... that should be a good sign.

What I like about modding is not the part where you get easy trophies. I think the challenge is like in this case, trying to figure out how to make small changes for things to work... thinking a bit outside the box when possible.
