Okay everyone, I'm not seeking rep or anything but it's frustrating when a GOOD save set goes un-maintained by a thread creator. So, if you wish to give thanks, please do so at that thread (linked below). I will ask a mod to lock my thread when (or *IF*) MEGAN05 goes to update their broken links, if necessary. I'm also posting this new thread instead of adding a post to the original thread because people can't seem to find NGU member Crazy_Spy's post where they re-uploaded the saves (well, most of 'em anyway). Okay, enough complaining.
Here's the complete save set INCLUDING Jake's Chapter 3 save that I just did added to it:
~ ALL RESIDENT EVIL 6 SAVES ~ You must login or register to view this content.
I didn't include a walkthrough of Jake's Chapter 3 with the save set, but here's what you have to do (it's also a BLUS region save):
- Sorry, no infinite ammo... but there's plenty enough shotgun shells to take out any J'avo blocking your path.
- Walk forward and the tank enters to main hallway.
- Run upstairs and you'll begin to be chased by the tank in the hallway. Sprint away from it (dodging the cannon blasts) and quickly dart to the small alcove to the LEFT when the camera shifts at the end.
- In the big, open area, keep sprinting ahead to the stone stairs, run to the top along the deck area to the end and pull a level at the end.
- Jump across the gap on the pole that is revealed.
- Now you have to use the tank to "push" the statue to the correct position. Run back up to the previous platform and then back again to lure the tank to push the statue. Repeat 3 times.
- Jump across to the new platform on the statue's pole once its in the correct position. Now run ahead, blowing away any enemies blocking your path until you reach the motorcycle. When you do, press the button prompt and you'll end the chapter and get the trophy.
Also, if you wish to use these saves and make your trophy collecting look totally legit, here's the best path to take:
1. Start up with a BRAND NEW save file and complete the Prologue AND Chapter 1. Try to sneak up behind 5 zombies and one-hit melee kill them for a trophy during this first chapter. Get a feel for the controls because, with the story saves, you'll have to complete objectives, fight bosses, quickly enter QTE button prompts and even successfully sneak by enemies, so a good working knowledge of the controls will temper any frustrations later on. At the end of Chapter 1, you'll get that chapter's trophy and then you can upgrade a skill with the points you've been collecting. Upgrade at least 1 for that trophy. Wait at least an hour or an hour and a half before completing the next chapter's save.
NOTE: The END GAME difficulty trophies (Amateur, Normal, Veteran AND Professional) also unlock after EACH chapter save completed with these saves. If you want this to look legit, when you are at the results screen, you'll need to turn off your PS3 completely once you get the end chapter trophy so ONLY that trophy unlocks and not the end game difficulty trophies. You've been warned... lol.
2. NOW, start using the saves. I've labeled each "1 Leon," "2 Chris," etc. so you'd want to do the character's stories in order. Doesn't matter if you do Chris's story or Jake's story first or whatever, but make sure you are doing them sequentially... Chapter 1, then 2, then 3, and so on. Do Ada's story LAST (her's doesn't unlock normally until you've beaten Leon's, Chris's and Jake's.) Again, wait an hour or so until you do the next chapter's saves (these are LONG chapters for this game, for the most part).
3. For the first zombie, J'avo and the end boss of Leon Chapter 2 (I think), you'll get the trophies for 500 Zombie kills (during Leon's campaign), 500 J'avo kills (during Chris' or Jake's campaign) and 100 "tough" enemies (with the end boss of Leon Chapter 2) -- these are unavoidable if you kill one of each enemy, so you might as well bite the bullet and do it (another reason why I suggested you play Chapter 1 to the end legit). Along the way, you'll also unlock various trophies once you beat a chapter -- the one for 150 medals comes to mind if you mess about with Leon's Chapter 5 boss for a long time like I did, for example.
4. Once you've completed all chapters for all 4 characters, NOW you can unlock the end game difficulty trophies with the "Ada CH5" save... just let 'em all unlock right then.
5. Now, just complete the combat related trophies -- use every save EXCEPT for the "Mad Skills" save. Since you can chapter select after beating the game for any of these, you can do these in any order.
6. Finally, use the "Mad Skills" save to unlock those trophies along with your Platinum. That should make for a nice, legit-looking collection of trophies if that's what you're after.
Again, here's the original thread so PLEASE give thanks to MEGAN05, shelle82, xXMessi20Xx and Crazy_Spy (for re-uploading): You must login or register to view this content.
