Post: Borderlands 2 PS3 Backpack Space of 900+ Using Game Genie Guide.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok i am going to make this as simple as possible. After over 3 hours of testing through game genie, i have figured out how to increase the backpack space above the 127 limit.

You will need to be able to buy the Backpack SDU from the blackmarket in sanctuary at least once.

Step 1: Go ahead and make your backpack to 127 (7F at offset 0864)
Step 2: Go to sanctuary and buy the Backpack SDU at least once
Step 3: Load game genie and you will notice the offset at 0864 has been changed to 82 or 85 depending how many times you bought the Backpack SDU. But what's really important is that there is a new offset block that has been added at 0865 of a value of 01
Step 4: Change the offset 0864 to 84 and the offset 0865 to 07 and apply the changes.
Step 5: You now have 900 backpack space.

If you change the new added offset block at 0865 to 19, your backpack will result in a size of 3,200+ but through my experience i would recommend to stick to 900 backpack space to avoid lag and crashes and even possible ps3 freezes. I will post a picture of game genie to further help more.

Thanks Jordan. I was really surprised you have a save file decrypted... Well regardless, after i finish editing the save i do need to encrypt the file back otherwise the game will just read the decrypted save as corrupt...

Was thinking all would have to do is look at the hex before putting on the relic then equip it and look at it should be able to see difference in the hex.

LOL do you know how big the hex is? I understand your concept and thats how i found out how to change the backpack and ammo mod. But it takes for ever to go through the whole thing and see if anything changes but i think i found a quicker way to do go through the whole thing but will give it a go tomorrow.. but most likely as other have mentioned when they mod their weapons when they load the game they disappear so most likely that would happen to in this case but i will give it a shot tomorrow...
