I wanted to resign the original Street Fighter 4 to get the Platinum but then I realized I can't get my save file out of my PS3 OFW and since I need it on my computer to remove the copy-protection, there nothing I can do to it.

You need a 3.55 cfw spoofed to 4.31 to data tranfer then pull it off the cfw ps3.

Dead Island is also copy-protected but it is doable.

If you have Xploder, you can use a save game file from any OTHER game to resign the save.
Iit does not need to be a SF4 game save to resign it. Check the link that VReal posted.

I just tried it and no good, I keep getting:

This data is corrupted.

or one time, my SF4 file was now named SSF4 file...
