Post: How to Find Game Saves on NGU
03-04-2013, 11:45 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Due to the increasing numbers of people requesting saves in the wrong section i'm going to put the 3 best ways of searching for a specific save.

Method 1:
This is probably the way most of us are used too, and again for many this is the only way we know how to search. To increase the chance's of finding the save EG. MGS4 search for: mgs4 save. This is much more likely to find the thread you were looking for.

You must login or register to view this content.

Click on SINGLE CONTENT TYPE on the top left.
Type in the name of the game on Keyword(s). On the side, click where it says search entire posts, CHANGE that to Titles only.
And change the search in forum(s) to - PS3 trophies and GameSaves.

You must login or register to view this content.

Method 2:
this I find personally to be a better way of search NGU. So first things first go to Google and type in:
site:nextgenupdate.com just like this
You must login or register to view this content.

and then put a space and put whatever it is your searching for after it EG. site:nextgenupdate.com mgs4 save.

Method 3:
Simply ASK, but please do it in the right section, the great thing about this community is we will all help where we can.
to request a save or in help finding a save post here: You must login or register to view this content.
Be sure to put a title name for the game(s) your looking for instead of just "help please"
additional info like region, certain trophy, plat save etc is also useful as it greatly speeds up the rate of a reply
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Do a barrel roll!
I believe this must be pinned for the people lost asking for help without using the searching tools.

Great guide :B

Also must be pointed if method 1 & 2 fails. People is free to ask in the PS3 Trophies Questions and Inquiries forum indicating at least:

-Game Name
-Version (JP/EU/US)
-Trophies
-OFW/CFW (Optional)

Gandalf the Orange
Personally Google is the most efficient way to search this site.

I like throwing this one in every now and again for laughs.
For instance... I need to look for "The Fallen"

You'd be surprised. This is a really helpful thread for people who've never gone on a forum before, or are just totally clueless.

There isn't anything bad about making a guide.

It would be nice if it was stickied in the main front of the forum though. So everyone can see it.
