Someone else posted a save but they removed their SFO which is confusing me because I'm new too Xploder. I have read the tutorial multiple times but I just don't know what to do here. Which save specifically do I need to modify and what exactly should I be doing? I'm going to try this next with the profile save. The system one seems useless:
Put my SFO in
Put that save on my memory stick
Open Xploder and drop it into my saves
Put my save on the stick
Copy the computer save to the stick one
Il try and help.
Copy your own GoW save data, both the preferences and the actual game save (one between 80kb-130kb, the other about 4.5mb) to a memory stick.
plug into pc and open the save folders up, make a duplicate of the saves for safe keeping just incase then remove everything except the .SFO file from both of your GoW folders.
Now, from the downloaded files, copy everything from the sysdata folder (except the .SFO to your folder on the memory stick) to your Gow sysdata folder, no do the exact same for the profdata folder, ensuring you copy everything from the downloaded profdata folder (except .SFO file) to your profdata folder on the memory stick.
open xploder (if already open refresh memory stick so it recognizes the updated files)
now ensure you have no GoW saves on the left side if the xploder screen (if you do I recommend deleting them)
click & drag one of the GoW saves from the right to the left, click 'move' not copy, once finished drag it back to your memory stick.
Again delete the GoW save from the left side of the screen and now drag the other GoW save from right to left, ensuring you click 'move' & not 'copy'
once moved drag back to memory stick.
If a warning pops up about integrity check just ignore it (thats what I did)
put memory stick back in ps3 and copy both files to your ps3
load GoW and it should work fine, thats the exact steps I used and I havent had a problem, thats including changing the regions for it to work too.
Hope that helps
