I was making a saveset for the game but accidentally deleted my users settings which apparently lost all my challenges done and so forth. Upon researching like crazy for something I found a starter save with 9,999,999 in money for the sims 3 but for the 360 version. Now if this can be done for this version then surely the same can be done for the PS3 version. It's just hard to believe that many games for the PS3 can be modded or exploited even games that are online based but yet nothing has come up for this game which has been highly asked for by many including myself.

Now I do not have CFW anymore so I can't extract my user settings for the game since that is locked. But the save itself isn't so I uploaded that. I also uploaded the modded save for the 360 version to compare and contrast. This is for the people we have here that are very skilled and know what they are doing based on modding games and such.

If you have CFW maybe you can compare the user settings with the modded save? Anyhow, at least a starter save for this game would be gold and appreciated. From there I can continue with my saveset or something.

Anyhow, please anyone with any knowledge please help.

I'm back had trouble with internet and loggin unto here. Anyhow, I have tried about everything and had no luck in modding the money to max. However, I am not sure if I really did try everything. I first modded the psims3 file via hex editor and although the save didnt crash or anything it didn't load up. I try to mod the user settings that soad08 thankfully shared but nothing there either. I think I am missing something or some things..Maybe someone has an idea. I know for sure this game can be modded as the 360 version was and also Sims games have never been difficult to mod. I know the game is published by EA so it might have to do with their checksum not sure. Anyhow, I hope someone might have an idea...Oh I did find out that trophies do unlock with another users save as long as the user settings are uploaded along with it. Not any user settings though, I mean the user settings that has the information from the game that the stats/trophies were unlocked with.

I've actually made a save set for this game, with almost every trophy, although it was on my last laptop thus; I don't have it anymore. Sadly I never uploaded it to mediafire or anything so I guess the file is lost ;( Just the other day I was thinking about this save. I wouldn't mind doing them and making a save set again, I like the sims! ;p

Edited: I'll make a new save set for this if soad can't.

A saveset would be outstanding but if you do it and upload it for the trophies to unlock for others the user settings have to be uploaded along with it. I was making a saveset as well and I accidentally deleted my user settings thus making my saves seem like I have done nothing stats wise I mean. I don't know if soad would make one you could ask him though. I am trying to at least see if I can create a starter save for it as I can't take this game anymore after all the hours I put into it making the saveset that I end up deleting anyway :embarrassed:
