Another game I file transferred, I didn't test for long but it resigns perfectly well with BruteForce. I know by selecting 'continue' it puts you on the very last checkpoint of the episode. Feel free to test further.

That depends if the saves on the disc version are the same as the PSN version (i.e separate saves for each episode), that way a simple 'region/folder name change' may work. If the disc version just uses 1 save for all episodes however, I can't see these saves working! Just need someone to test.
