Hy, just did also the Defender Trophy, it's easy to do it, but u need time. Just got my plat. Go on this site

register, login and head to Galaxy at War, Galactic Readness. Take every time the 1 hour mission for 1 - 2 days and when u have 100% everywhere head to the game at the war room. Then the trophy pops.
Be sure to use the same origin account that u have on the Ps3 so to link the accounts.

the problem is I cant even connect to ea servers when I load up Mass effect 3 and to make the matter worse it even freezes at the intro screen
I got the achievement the way you mentioned on 360,but my ps3 version of this game has this problem since day 1
I read somewhere that after installing the extended cut dlc if we do complete all missions /side one, scan every planets the galactic readiness reads 5000 and bam it pops the trophy .
Will have to try this one
