This might be irrelevant for those who played it legit and used the cloud after it. But if you never intended to play it like normal, using only the hacked save provided here will immediately let everyone know that you're using hacked saves. Nice grammar, by the way. Does anyone know if this still works?
I've tried literally everything, I'm also really familiar with resigning saves and using hex editor. I've also done this for myself awhile back but wanted to do this for my Wife
I've tried I think every solution in the comments etc but to no luck. If anyone at all can explain what they did to get it work please tell me it's been 5 hours and I'm at a loss.

I've followed the instruction to a T and this just flat out doesn't work. I have done the guide, and none of this matters.
Even with lagrue written in that part of the hex, and with a rebuild that's perfectly fine, the PS3 says the save belong to somebody else.
Notably the Profile still says BLANK in Bruteforce...
Also my bruteforce doesn't open HXD on double click... it opens the patch builder which seems to be some inferior version of HXD. So to that merit, I decrypt the files - then open HXD outside of Bruteforce... I do the edits there... no idea if this is the cause but goddamnit this is annoying.
I've never known any game that requires such a damn reacharound to resign.
Could somebody post an in depth guide, and not just a couple pictures on a bad host site?

Wow it seems once upon a time OP once had WORKING instructions in his post... but for some, unfathomable reason, thought it would be brilliant to remove them. For anybody else struggling, thankfully somebody quoted the proper instructions:
1.Add your own .SFO
2.Decrypt with K.G. Resigner
3.Open SAVE.JSO with HxD Hex Editor
4.Search in HxD for online
5.Edit BLANK11111 with your profile name,if you need add bytes to the file (longer username)
6.Cloud sync should work now
