Maybe I spoke to soon. I can't seem to get this to work.
So, before downloading this save, I had my own. The game works fine. When I try and replace it with the US version save, after resigning it to my profile, I try and launch the game and get nothing expect a black screen. I can still hit the PS button and bring up the XMB, and even quit out, although when I do that my PS3 resets completely.
I try again with no save at all, game boots up fine.
Am I doing something wrong? I have the info in Bruteforces game.cfg for the US version. I have tried simply rebuilding it to my profile like I have done many times with other games, and I also even tried decrpting, encrpting, then rebulding. Nothing seems to work so far.
Any ideas guys?

This game has different key for US or EU,you cant do region changing in this case,but you do it another way.
Decrypt EU save and US save
Open EU save with HxD and copy whole from address 0x00 till end of file
Open US save and delete everything inside then paste EU hex data into it
update PFD -> encrypt PFD -> verify pfd
it should be good to go,I tried using this method and it works fine for me when I was playing GOW Origin.(1 of games in GOW Origin having different key)

Wait I am confused. I am not using the EU copy of the game. I have the US copy. I am using the US save folder from the download. I don't get how that would help unless the US save was messed up in some way.
Basically, from what you are telling me, that even though I have the US region game, I need to:
Decrypt both the EU and US save
Open the EU save with HxD and copy the entire file
Open the US save and delete then paste the EU hex data
update, encrypt, verfiy.
all of that to get a save for the US version to...work on the US version?
