I decided to make this save after putting in too many hours and having the game glitch too much for this trophy
Simply resign to your profile

There are 49/50 students in peril the last one you need is in the Charms classroom basement that you need Griphook to open. It is the right hand side one.
When you drop down come towards the screen into the gutter type pathway at the end he is trapped in devils snare simply release him and the trophy will pop.
Hope this helps some of you out
