(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); We need more posts with saves then posts asking for the same game. Theirs a very simple way to see if a game is even remotely exploitable.

Step 1: On your ps3 go to "Save data utility"

Step 2: Hover over the game save you would like (must have a save for the game already on your system from YOU playing)

Step 3: Press triangle and then select copy

If it lets you select a destination to copy to then it may be exploitable. If it says it cannot be copied then don't request it. If you can't get the save off the system how can we?

EDIT: Some games can be copied to another user but not device, what we're looking for is to be able to move to a device.

Now lets say someone does magically make it possible to copy over saves that are encrypted a.k.a copyright prohibited. They will be found and sued by the developer of the game. Hence the words, COPYRIGHT PROHIBITED.

@Admiral

You are right it only removes a certain low number of games but truthfully those are the games that are mostly asked for. Like AC2, KZ2, SF4, etc..

actually thats foolish logic, i dont mean to offend of course but those are not the main games =P

ive seen more darksiders and world at war than AC 2 or SF IV, and ive not even seen a demons souls one... also as a whole it gives misinformation the topic implies that as long as you can get the save off the system you can hack it in some way *theres a bit of logic to this* but that doesnt mean we have the tools for this which would actually add to the topics we have because people just think "it works so i can get a hack"

No offense taken. Since this trophy hack was presented, on the first day loads of ppl have asked and even made other topics asking for saves for AC2, KZ2, SF4, etc.. More than any other game. Fortunately you don't see much of that now but you did when this started up until just recently.

And true though that just because it can be copied over doesn't exactly mean it can be exploited for trophies. Like W@W can be copied but cannot be exploited, GTA4 as well, and a few more.

Truth is, exploiting PS3 games for saves that give trophies are a lot harder to come by than those for 360 gamesaves that offer achievements. But most don't see that (which they have proven in many threads here).

Then they are ppl who claim that certain saves work but show no proof (Resistance 2, RE5, R&C, etc).

You guys all miss the point, What I was trying to say is that this is the FIRST STEP. If you're unable to even move it then the game cannot be exploited. I should have added and will add copy to an external device. I know some games can be exploited if copied to another user, however thats only useful for the person with the save, here we're looking for saves we can backup regardless if encrypted or not.
