I habe a question... What is exactly the point in resigning and how is it done correctly? I saw a bruteforce save but it didnt seem to work.
I also want to know how to change exactly the region with bruteforce, I saw a couple of tutorials but it never worked as it should have.
I downloaded the dark souls 2 starter save and changed the profil information with my account, but it tells me that the save is corrupted... Did it not work because I have the europeam version of the game?

look, as it isn't so easy to explain for a total newbie, please refer to the tutorials posted here, there are even videos.

and if you don't even know what it's for, then better stay away from it.

I know resigning is to make an other save work for your ps3, its like changing the account information but I wasnt sure...

The point of resigning saves is that you can use other people's saves on your account to get trophies, even instant platinums in some cases. Works 100% on OFW with no risk at all.

First of all, you have to set up Bruteforce properly to resign saves successfully.

If you want to change the region of a save, simply change the folder name to the region name you want. Then go inside the folder and delete the PARAM.SFO. You then boot up Bruteforce and load the save in it. The software will then create the perfect PARAM.SFO for the folder save then resign.

To resign, do this:
> Load the save into Bruteforce.
> Decrypt PFD, Decrypt All Files, Yes.
> Encrypt PFD, Encrypt Decrypted Files, Yes.
> Verify PFD
> Rebuild, Rebuild Partial, Yes.

Thanks Stephen I did this all the time and it never worked. I just figured out why it didn't work... I use a Mac with VM Ware Fusion and a hacked Windows Copy, well there must have been some Installation issues and that's the reason why everything was corrupt. I downloaded now an application called wineskin, it allows me to use Windows programs on the mac and when I installed Bruteforce again and tried to edit some saves everything worked perfectly, so it wasn't even my fault. Thanks to you I know a better and easier way to change the game's region and I'm able to resign savegames by myself and thats all I wanted. thanks for your help.
