Post: How do you resign someone's save when they've removed the PARAM.SFO?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've tried adding my own PARAM.SFO and then resigning as normal, but that just corrupts the save. Tried with Bruteforce and K.G's save resigner.

Edit: Realised one of the problems might be because the save I want is a US one, but I want to change the region to EU. So is there a way of doing this without corrupting?

Thanks.

I usually just "rebuild - full" in Bruteforce, then once it's resigned, I decrypt it, change the region, and encrypt it. I don't replace sfo's or anything like that.

Copy one of your own files (one you're positive is signed to your account) to USB stick. Make a profile in Bruteforce/KG PS3 Resigner with this file. Then, all you have to do is "Rebuild - Full" (with Bruteforce)/resign (with KG PS3 Resigner) the save you want resigned to your account, and it will automatically add the PARAM.SFO with your account details to the save. Enjoy.

Yeah, the problem with the save is that it doesn't have its own .SFO so I have to add my own. And I'm guessing it's because my account is EU and the save is US which is causing the problem.

No, do what I said and it should work. You have to create/add your own profile to Bruteforce and existing save file. So it has a reference what account to resign the saved file to. If you don't understand, PM me and I'll help you out.

Just tried what you did, and it still didn't work. Here's what I did step by step, so you can let me know if I did something wrong.

1) Made a fresh install of Bruteforce

2) Created a profile with a PARAM.SFO of my own save from the same game I want to resign

3) Did a full rebuild with my profile

4) Decrypted, changed region and encrypted

5) Copied over the newly created folder with the EU region code on

6) PS3 shows the data as corrupted, but instead if saying Corrupted Data on the file name, it has the region code instead.

Hopefully that gives you a better idea of the trouble I'm having.

Weird. Everything seems to be going good. What if you leave the region as it is? Does it atleast say it's not corrupted?

Edit: And what if you add one of your own PARA.SFO's from another game? Already with your account. And resign it to your account anyway.
