As soon as you sign in on CFW there is always a change of being banned.

The risk is higher when modding in games and what not but even so the risk is still always going to be there.

The platinum shops work by either using CFW to hack the trophies and give you the platinum with random times stamps etc.

Or they will play a game using save sets provided on websites such as NGU.

Obviously there is the instant platinum save hacks that give it to you from loading the game or you can data transfer a instant platinum patch from CFW to OFW and give it to people that way without the risk of signing in on CFW.

Like I said there is a always a chance it does not matter what the level you want to go to is.

It is a risk and if you want to take it then you can but like I say the chance may be small but it's always present.

I had an account with modded trophies on level 27 and it was good for a few months then it was perma banned. There was no modded stats on it just trophies.

Well it is not generally the fact that you have modded trophies it is because of the PS3 system that they look at.

Basically when you sign in on a OFW PS3 there is nothing wrong with it. Nothing is sent to Sony saying watch this account because you are on a legitimate firmware.

When you sign in on a CFW PS3 that sends a flag to Sony so they monitor what happens on the PS3 basically everything that happens from when the PS3 is turned on is sent to Sony so they can see what has been used and what has been done if that makes any sense.

There are always ways around that such as wiping the history etc but you cannot hide signing in on a CFW machine that is why so many people get banned because you cannot stop that one thing.

If there was a safe way of doing it then no one would be banned and no consoles would be banned.

It's just a risk some people take or don't (personally I take it to host lobbies but not on a main account I have loads of dummy Japanese accounts)

I can do trophies as well and have done in the past for a few friends out of all the friends I did them for only 3 are not banned.

A good example is this having platinumed a game before it was released or time stamps in a weird order.

I kinda messed up on a few of my trophy time stamps sooo lost a main account

i hacked 14 plats on my second account like 2 months ago and im not banned.
i want to unlock about 200 trophies on my main account because i want a 100% completion.
some trophies cant be unlocked since the servers are offline so there is no other way than hacking them.
i have a ofw and cfw ps3 4.55(spoofed to 4.60). is there a safe way to do this or do i have to sync them on my cfw and hope to not get banned?

Edit the timestamps to dates where server wasnt down yet.
I got a few hacked trophies a couple years ago and im still not banned. I think most people who get banned traveled too far up the trophy leaderboards
