Besides the obvious showing people that you did certain things in a game (that you really didn't) are there other benefits that i'm missing?

I'm not knocking it just trying to get my head around it..I love all forms of modding and hacking.

A lot of people have a jailbroken PS3 for their own needs and if that need is to get trophies then there's nothing we can do to stop it. Although you do feel better when accomplishing a full game trophy list on your own and not by hacking/modding it.

HAHAHHA Zombie I really don't know i NEVER look at Trophies.. This is why i was asking. I thought it was a benefit to having them besides a "cool factor"

Because people look my level and thing, "Damn Zombie! You're a fucking master disaster!"

Because trophies are awesome and it's even awesome to get trophies you don't have time to earn legit. The profit is playing games you like and earn trophies on games you dislike without effort or consuming time
