I have been trying to change the actual in-game profile name for a save file I downloaded. This is for Assassin's Creed 3 for the 100% complete. My OCD kicks in and when I go to start the game, not seeing my name bugs me. I decrypted the file and then changed the 2 SAV files with the HEX editor to my name, encrypted and rebuild it. That gave me corrupted data. I then tried the same, only copying the same section from my original save file to the new file and I also got the corrupted data error.

I tried searching and cannot find how to do this. I use Bruteforce and HxD. I am not trying to claim anyone's work, this is just for myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
