Nothing is fool proof and sometimes taking all the steps still leads to banning so use at your own risk.
If all you're doin is getting trophies you need to wipe history, disable cfw syscalls, and if possible use a proxy to disable certain websites..as far as what firmware, as long as you are spoofed to current fw, or are on the latest current fw
