People that steal accounts are fine, as it was the account holder's responsibility to keep their email/password safe.
People that steal an account and use the CC information stored on it, are doing an illegal activity and is not a smart thing to do, as it IS tracked by Sony. If someone really DID steal ~$800 CAD from someone's UK account, that can easily be gotten back by calling their CC company.
Losing your account should be HARD, as you should know the secret question and answer to get it back asap.
People that steal money, however, will just end up being caught in the end, as long as the original owner DOES something about it. Just staring at your CC statement being depressed won't help, as you can get the money back, even if it was your own fault.
I only share with people I trust, to those that are willing to share with random people, be prepared, and have the forgot username/password screen up from the Playstation website to retrieve your password pending it gets changed.
You'd think this kind of thought process would be standard in any situation regarding the handing out of your password and email.
Failing any of that just shows either ignorance (usually because the person is young), or stupidity, plain and simple.
