As hinted at by an Xbox Live Spotlight ad which briefly appeared yesterday, a demo for Aliens vs. Predator will be released on Xbox Live, PSN and Steam tomorrow. A Sega Europe blog post which announced the demo's imminence revealed that the trial gives players access to all three of the game's species, who can battle it out Deathmatch-style on one of AvP's multiplayer maps. You can bet we'll hop on this one as soon as it's available -- who knows, maybe the fanged proboscis which will soon bore into your skull will belong to one of us!
Dude this game is RIDICULOUSLY SICK. Sure it's not R1-fire, but not every game can be Call Of Duty.. so...
If you're going to play as an alien, go into the options menu, then controls and turn Auto-Transition ON, it makes it easier IMO. It's so you don't have to push R2 to climb walls.
Also, the "auto-aiming machine gun" is called The Smart Gun and it's the sickest gun ever and will completely own people's souls...
This game will be awesome when the full release is out, I'm definitely going to get it...
i played it today, was a marine and actually did pretty well. i think the only downside is if you get hit there is quite a delay before you can shoot again. anyway if you wana play add me PSN=Steve0246
this demo is quite good, exept that you need to invite or join your friends, and it does not match you with other players.
the loading time is tedious too, but its pretty cool demo.
