As hinted at by an Xbox Live Spotlight ad which briefly appeared yesterday, a demo for Aliens vs. Predator will be released on Xbox Live, PSN and Steam tomorrow. A Sega Europe blog post which announced the demo's imminence revealed that the trial gives players access to all three of the game's species, who can battle it out Deathmatch-style on one of AvP's multiplayer maps. You can bet we'll hop on this one as soon as it's available -- who knows, maybe the fanged proboscis which will soon bore into your skull will belong to one of us!
Yeah except the server are down or something because nobody can get into a single game without inviting people on your f list and my luck nobody on my f list has it. If anybody wants to try and get a match invite me.
I got into 2 games, but the second timed out on me.
The only thing i don't like about this is that when you're in Marine mode, there's no R1=Fire controller scheme
Yeah I got into a few but it took forever and played as predator. The game isn't quit what I was expecting it to be and plays almost exactly like the PC counter-parts of the older AVP games which isn't exactly a downside but I was expecting a more quality feel for lack of better words.
Also the graphics aren't exactly the best but the game is fun. It's also just a demo and says it's based on older code so I'll just have to check out the final release on Tuesday.

It's all a learning process, and it's only a demo.
My biggest hope about the full is the r1=fire controller scheme. I also hope to get an L1 aim down the site option too, but i'm not holding my breath.
Playing as a marine isn't too bad, a bit hard, but not bad at all. The way to win as one of them is to find the machine gun that auto-aims.
I never had much play-time as an alien because i timed out, but it's obvious it will take awhile to get used to.
I'm hoping to play as a predator tonight
