beta is kind of the rough draft of a game and gets tested by players to find any glitches so the company can fix them before the release date.

Also I've preordered Call of Duty: World At War but they didn't give me any beta keys...But the poster said they would give you one for the 360 wouldn't it be the same for PS3?

Sadly Cod:WaW is only on Xbox :(

That's really stupid too many games favor 360 and pc they forget about the PS3 I didn't pay $500+ just so I can miss out on betas

Um you shouldn't really be paying $500 just to play betas anyway. I get what you mean but it doesn't really matter that much since you'll be playing the full game anyway. For getting betas I usually just pre-order when ever they have it available. I can live without being in closed betas or even open betas. Its really not that big of a deal. Its just nice to have a little free sample of whats to come. Your whole gaming experience shouldn't revolve around trying to get into a bunch of betas by begging and posting on Playstation Boards all day long.

COD WAW is going to be for ps3.they just arent going to have a beta for it on the ps3.

Not getting a beta doesn't bother me but not having the option to get it does
