A lot of people are posting the same theories and mixing up the emblem with the COD4 one. The COD4 one, which is shown below is obtained through the Spectre IV challenge completion:

According to 402, this emblem is obtainable in the game without hacking or modding. Proof of him saying this is shown on his Twitter account as well as the pictures below:

So now that you all know what emblem we're looking for, here are some of the THEORIES that people have thought of and proven to be wrong. Also, no one has obtained this emblem without hacking the game.
THEORIES IN THE TRASH:

This would take approximately 112 nukes but if you want to be realistic and say 6 kills per game, you would call in about 167 nukes)

Complete all HIDDEN Challenges: Hackers have pretty much found all of the hidden challenges in the game and completed them. The game doesn't consist of many hidden challenges and even if it was a hidden challenge, then modded game lobbies would unlock every challenge despite it being hidden.
So there's the few theories many of us have gone through in order to get this emblem, and thus far, we're pretty much out of luck and ideas. Hackers have looked into the .csv (game codes) to find something that may stand out, and so far the only thing they found is the following:
"level 70 and pr_marksman_ak47_4"
You have to be level 70 to unlock the AK47, unfortunately the Marksmen challenge only goes upto 3 (III), which doesn't help us at all.
It also doesn't have anything to do with any of the DLC content as 402 said that the emblem was obtainable on the PS3 way before the first DLC came out.
Post any new theories you guys have. We're going to find out how to get this emblem!
Also, please refrain from posting theories that have already been proven wrong. We need NEW ones.

I just finished that today and I didn't receive it. I had the 10th prestige title and emblem on the entire 1000 kills. I got NOTHING!

This really makes it seem like it's completing all challenges, though it is proven false. Because technically completing all challenges is the last thing you're able to do right? Getting AK-47 kills isn't technically the last thing you can do, because people might get all challenges completed with the AK before they do it with the M4A1. Plus if it was just X amount of kills with a certain gun, I think it would be confirmed already, that's not a long process. Maybe after you complete all challenges, another secret challenge is unlocked? Possibly that has something to do with the AK-47?

I swear half of you don't read. If it's a long process it's not going to be the AK kill theory most likely. If the QA knows how to get it (most likely seeing as though he is making sure you can still get it) and it takes him a long time to get it, then what chance do we have of not knowing how to get it and it taking ages to get? many people have been trying since December on all different theories. All of them could not be the right one. 1000 nukes for example. Yeah long process, could be the wrong one though. That's wasted X amount of days trying. Same with another theory. Could waste X amount of days trying that thus making our process A LOT longer than the QA's process. Get it? If it is technically the LAST thing, I can't see it being a certain challenge. You could get them at anytime. Maybe all challenges and a super secret one that unlocks after like siimply dank said. What I think though is that we should stop trying until we get a confirmation that it is unlockable and maybe a hint. We could be following the wrong trail.

I THINK I have found the way. I'm not saying I have, but this a new theory. Yes, it does seem stupid, but it makes some sense in a way...
If you look at the COD4 10th Prestige Spinning Emblem You must login or register to view this content. You'll notice that it spins clockwise (if I'm correct). That emblem is obtained for getting 1000 kills with the AC130.
Now if you look at the Spinning 10th Prestige Emblem for MW2 You must login or register to view this content. You'll notice that it spins anti-clockwise (again, if I'm correct)
Now, going by what I've just said, I believe the way to obtain this emblem is, by getting killed by an AC130 1000 times. Think about it, both emblems are animated (spinning) 1 is obtained for getting 1000 kills with an AC130 and it spins clockwise, so if the other emblem spins anti-clockwise, it should be getting killed by an AC130 1000 times. This would take a very long time, as people don't go out in the open when an AC130 is in-bound. You automatically hide, or try to. So getting killed by it 1000 times would take a very long time.
Again, I'm not saying this is the way, but it just seems to make sense. I know hackers found something to do with the AK-47, but it doesn't mean it's true, does it? If you guys want to try it out, it's up to you.
Way to test this out- If you went into split-screen and made 2 accounts (2 diers) and have 1 killer (with AC130 and e-drops unlocked)
You put it on SnD in Rust. with all the settings modified.
Then, kill 1 player many, many, many times. Every time you get an AC130 on him, kill yourself and repeat. Just keep stacking AC130s. Also, collect any AC130s you get from e-drops. Stop when you think you have enough AC130s.
Then, make the first dier change teams to your team and leave the other dier on the enemy team (should be a new account with 0 deaths) and just keep using AC130s on it and kill it only with an AC130. Keep repeating until it has 1000 deaths (they should all be AC130 deaths).
I don't know if it makes any sense to you lot, but I know what I mean, I just can't explain it well.
