A lot of people are posting the same theories and mixing up the emblem with the COD4 one. The COD4 one, which is shown below is obtained through the Spectre IV challenge completion:

According to 402, this emblem is obtainable in the game without hacking or modding. Proof of him saying this is shown on his Twitter account as well as the pictures below:

So now that you all know what emblem we're looking for, here are some of the THEORIES that people have thought of and proven to be wrong. Also, no one has obtained this emblem without hacking the game.
THEORIES IN THE TRASH:

The game doesn't know the difference between hack and legit.
All Achievements Unlocked: FALSE.
100% Completion on Campaign, Spec Ops , Multiplayer (1100%): FALSE.

This would take approximately 112 nukes but if you want to be realistic and say 6 kills per game, you would call in about 167 nukes)

Complete all HIDDEN Challenges: Hackers have pretty much found all of the hidden challenges in the game and completed them. The game doesn't consist of many hidden challenges and even if it was a hidden challenge, then modded game lobbies would unlock every challenge despite it being hidden.
So there's the few theories many of us have gone through in order to get this emblem, and thus far, we're pretty much out of luck and ideas. Hackers have looked into the .csv (game codes) to find something that may stand out, and so far the only thing they found is the following:
"level 70 and pr_marksman_ak47_4"
You have to be level 70 to unlock the AK47, unfortunately the Marksmen challenge only goes upto 3 (III), which doesn't help us at all.
It also doesn't have anything to do with any of the DLC content as 402 said that the emblem was obtainable on the PS3 way before the first DLC came out.
Post any new theories you guys have. We're going to find out how to get this emblem!
Also, please refrain from posting theories that have already been proven wrong. We need NEW ones.

like i said b4 ONE OF 402's Hints was "It will be the last thing you do...." after u reach lvl70 u get AK-47 and thats the lasts gun challenge unlocked obviously we know the thing says "LVL70 and pr_ak47Marksmen_4 or something like that. but we all know there is no AK-47 Marksmen 4. theres got to be some secret behind it but most likely something about the AK 47 will lead us to the mystery of The Gold Spinning Skull. So please people no more saying "oh i know its 1000accolades or complete all challenges" this about the AK is the most logical theory to unlocking it.

Hi, good post, this is my first time posting on this website so flamers take it easy, I have some theories, please excuse me if these have already been mentioned, my intentions are not to steal theories from people:
Im thinking about Mark Bowling's comment about 'last thing you do'
1. Get kills/killstreak (how ever many, 100, 1000) with the AK-47 by killing people who are 10th prestige.
2. Using COPYCAT after getting killed by a 10th prestige a number of times/killstreak
3. Get kills/killstreak (how ever many, 100, 1000) by killing people who are using the 10th NORMAL prestige emblem.
I havent tried these yet, these are just theories I want to share with you guys, im new to this website but I see people hating on each other and I dont like it so if I get hated on for no reason other than constructive criticism, I WILL NOT RESPECT YOU.

1. You can't unlock the emblem via normal play!
2. There is no unlock string that attaches to the emblem.
3. It's known as dead data, stuff that can't be implemented in the game normally is left on the disc.
Examples: Smash bros brawl, the game disc included data for Roy, Plusle and minun, and other character but were scratched from the final game.
Halo 3: There's a medal in the game, I think it was kill an enemy with an explosion. However the medal never popped up when you get an explosive kill, because it was bugged.
PEOPLE THERE IS NO WAY TO UNLOCK THIS EMBLEM VIA NORMAL PLAY.
PLEASE LOCK IT.

Are you posting theories or facts? If you are posting facts you should include some form of proof which is tangible or not many people would believe you.

may to unlock this emblem u need a special combination of tittle n emblem and then, a certain killstreak setup or x amount of kills with that combination of tittle n emblem.... In total there are 174,636 different combination of titles and emblems.
