A lot of people are posting the same theories and mixing up the emblem with the COD4 one. The COD4 one, which is shown below is obtained through the Spectre IV challenge completion:

According to 402, this emblem is obtainable in the game without hacking or modding. Proof of him saying this is shown on his Twitter account as well as the pictures below:

So now that you all know what emblem we're looking for, here are some of the THEORIES that people have thought of and proven to be wrong. Also, no one has obtained this emblem without hacking the game.
THEORIES IN THE TRASH:

The game doesn't know the difference between hack and legit.
All Achievements Unlocked: FALSE.
100% Completion on Campaign, Spec Ops , Multiplayer (1100%): FALSE.

This would take approximately 112 nukes but if you want to be realistic and say 6 kills per game, you would call in about 167 nukes)

Complete all HIDDEN Challenges: Hackers have pretty much found all of the hidden challenges in the game and completed them. The game doesn't consist of many hidden challenges and even if it was a hidden challenge, then modded game lobbies would unlock every challenge despite it being hidden.
So there's the few theories many of us have gone through in order to get this emblem, and thus far, we're pretty much out of luck and ideas. Hackers have looked into the .csv (game codes) to find something that may stand out, and so far the only thing they found is the following:
"level 70 and pr_marksman_ak47_4"
You have to be level 70 to unlock the AK47, unfortunately the Marksmen challenge only goes upto 3 (III), which doesn't help us at all.
It also doesn't have anything to do with any of the DLC content as 402 said that the emblem was obtainable on the PS3 way before the first DLC came out.
Post any new theories you guys have. We're going to find out how to get this emblem!
Also, please refrain from posting theories that have already been proven wrong. We need NEW ones.

You have no proof that it's not possible to unlock only because no one has it. Plus 2 people have got the lobbies to work.

And in response to XitsBooX, you're theory makes no sense whatsoever mate. Why would they have planted the emblem as a 'red herring' so to speak, knowing that the PS3 has so much technology to avoid the hacking, and although it's very simple technology, it's the combination of the lot that makes it difficult. No-one on PS3 tends to get banned anyhow, unlike Xbox, so it's most definitely out of the window.
mgltg2 - You're post isn't really that helpful either mate, you claim it's been proven not to be obtainable through normal game play, do you have prove of this? 402 has stated that the emblem is being PROVEN to be obtainable by the Dev team, but was sidetracked by priorities. Although I cannot remember the rest of the post my point remains.. However, I do share your love and want for that emblem.
And to Pyrochemical, you can believe what you want mate, but if IW had screwed up, they would have patched it, possibly secretly, in order to avoid trashing their reputation. Think about it, a producer of their size, making a mistake like this, shall we publicize it or patch it and keep it a secret.
I don't have anymore theories of my own to post at this moment in time, and personally believe that the emblem IS obtainable. Hope we can figure it out or it's proven to us by the Dev team at IW pretty soon or they will be losing alot of respect from customers over a few pixels they couldn't tell us about. Today I was playing SnD on my PS3 and saw a guy with this effing emblem... I wanted to send him a message asking how he'd got it, even though I knew what the answer would be, but anyway
The thing is, I sniped him and he left lol

ha yea, he would of said he didnt know or tell the truth and say he hacked. it has come to a point where no one in the world has figured this out (less than half of the people who have this game knowing that its not obtainable).

im/were not going crazy at all. i dont want to equip this emblem or even unlock it by hacking but want to figure this mystery about why they didnt include it in the game.
