A lot of people are posting the same theories and mixing up the emblem with the COD4 one. The COD4 one, which is shown below is obtained through the Spectre IV challenge completion:

According to 402, this emblem is obtainable in the game without hacking or modding. Proof of him saying this is shown on his Twitter account as well as the pictures below:

So now that you all know what emblem we're looking for, here are some of the THEORIES that people have thought of and proven to be wrong. Also, no one has obtained this emblem without hacking the game.
THEORIES IN THE TRASH:

The game doesn't know the difference between hack and legit.
All Achievements Unlocked: FALSE.
100% Completion on Campaign, Spec Ops , Multiplayer (1100%): FALSE.

This would take approximately 112 nukes but if you want to be realistic and say 6 kills per game, you would call in about 167 nukes)

Complete all HIDDEN Challenges: Hackers have pretty much found all of the hidden challenges in the game and completed them. The game doesn't consist of many hidden challenges and even if it was a hidden challenge, then modded game lobbies would unlock every challenge despite it being hidden.
So there's the few theories many of us have gone through in order to get this emblem, and thus far, we're pretty much out of luck and ideas. Hackers have looked into the .csv (game codes) to find something that may stand out, and so far the only thing they found is the following:
"level 70 and pr_marksman_ak47_4"
You have to be level 70 to unlock the AK47, unfortunately the Marksmen challenge only goes upto 3 (III), which doesn't help us at all.
It also doesn't have anything to do with any of the DLC content as 402 said that the emblem was obtainable on the PS3 way before the first DLC came out.
Post any new theories you guys have. We're going to find out how to get this emblem!
Also, please refrain from posting theories that have already been proven wrong. We need NEW ones.

Tried it with Robert Bowling. He or any other IW will not reply unless hundreds of people flood them with emails.

at this point, i suggest to everyone that u stop thinking 'how?' and start thinking, 'why?'. why isnt anyone at IW revealing what to do in order to earn the emblem or a simple hint? would it make sense if it was too hard of an objective to complete, or if it was simple to figure out but takes time/skill to earn and thats why they arent hinting on any way to earn it as a result, people would easily know how and stop playing the game?

This is probably gonna be hated on but its an idea, maybe this has to do with accolades more importantly with the Warming Up accolade its not easy to obtain. It could explain why hackers arent getting it unlocked when they complete challeges their hacking kills but this accolade doesnt deal with kills i think. I cant wait to see the replys to this BE GENTILE!!!:angel:

LOL, I don't even know how to get warming up :embarrassed: It could be something to do with accolades. maybe a certain amount of a certain one. If you can tell me how to get warming up it could be logical. It could be so simple to get. Instead of thinking outside the box, what about thinking inside the box? The simple things that could get it. Try theories in split screen if they are easy. As for IW not revealing it, they made it to be a secret emblem. It would be over used if everyone knew how to get it. Letting the community try and find out how to get it was the point in the emblem. Of course, we have no idea if their coding ****ed up and doesn't let people get it. It's not like we know when we should have it, and then I doubt that IW would know that their coding ****ed up.

This might sound stupid, but what if IW made it so the only way of unlocking it, is to mod? Then they could easily identify modders from legit. I know its not a good theory but it's all Ive got.

did u guys notice u get the silver skulls title for that ak47 at 1000 kills u know the silver one u get at 2500 kills for other guns? got it few days ago, maybe it does have something to do with ak? like 10,000 ak kills and 5000 headshots, idk just found it weird that u get that at 1000 kills instead of 2500 like other guns.

If you want to get the accolade for Warming up, it's not very hard. It just requires strategy. A good tutorial for it is:

Follow that precisely and you'll get it in a private match.

Someone already asked 402 if they should report anyone who has the emblem as a hacker. 402 said that would be unwise considering anyone in the game can obtain it. So if he's not lying, it's not just by hacking or mod.
