I like the original controller with extended triggers. Lightweight. I also have a chrome dual-shock..but the bastard is heavy and is only cool when doing single player games anymore.

I don't use rapid fire. I'm faster on my own (semi-pro paintballer.....do it long enough, you get really fast fingers).......(just ask your g/f......giggity....j/k)

There is also this controller too. A bit hard to use, but with some practice and lots of drinking...you get used to it. It requires an T4 line directly ported into your bloodstream though.

But i'll just stick with my dualshock 3 because after years of gaming with PS1 and PS2 COntrollers I'm just used to it.

Ordinary SixAxis controller (the one with no vibrations) ps3 version 40 and 60 gb is much lighter than dualshock 3 and analog sticks works much better
